Laurence Fishburne Rumored to be Next CSI
Don’t look now but the producers of CSI are not taking any chances. Lead star William Petersen has begged off from the show and apparently the spot he left calls for a person with big shoes to fill.
Fishburne is known to be a popular actor since starring for box office hits such as The Matrix and Mission Impossible 3. His name is already established and if the CBS producers can land him to be the latest CSI, you can just feel the ratings going up higher than before.
Other names being mentioned to replace Petersen included big name actors such as John Malkovich and Kurt Russel. But at this point, it looks like Fishburne is the one being pursued for the role.
